The beautiful hotel grounds are the perfect place to take dogs for a morning stroll or evening wander – the Lady’s Walk, dating back to the Georgian period, has access to the Exe Estuary Trail meaning you and your pet pooch can explore further while searching for that paw-fect stick to chase!
In each dog-friendly room, the hotel provides a dog bed, towel, torch and dog bowl.

Castle Brake is a fantastic place to take your dog on holiday. Enjoy both their on-site Nature Trail Walk or access to nearby Woodbury Common via a track just 500m from the park entrance. Popular with walkers, Woodbury Common boasts miles of open heathland where your dog can explore and roam freely.
Castle Brake is also only a few miles away from some beautiful beaches that allow dogs on designated areas throughout the year. Please note, dogs must be always kept on a lead in the park.

Water is available for thirsty pups, and there are refill taps at all restaurants, so you can help yourselves to as much fresh water as you (or your pup!) need. All the team asks is that dogs stay on their leads, respect other guests, and that paws remain on the floor at all times.

The Esplanade
There really is nothing like strolling along the longest seafront in Devon. Whether you’re after a breath of fresh air, keen to do a bit of people watching (exactly what the promenade was used for in Victorian Times) or you just want to drink in the beautiful vistas, The Esplanade is the perfect place for a leisurely walk with your dog.
There is a pavement along the top of the beach, so the walk is both pushchair and wheelchair friendly. However, it can be a busy walk so expect lots of activity! If you’re walking your dog, do pick up after it. Fines are in place.
The Jurassic Coast

Dogs are allowed on Exmouth Beach main beach during the winter months. Between 1st May and 30th September, dogs are only allowed at each end of the beach.
