Getting to Exmouth

BY ROAD

From the M5 South, take junction 30. Follow signs for Exmouth A376, and turn left at a small roundabout by the George & Dragon pub. Pass Lympstone and continue to Exmouth.

From Exeter City Centre take Topsham Road south for approximately 2 miles through Countess Wear roundabout to Topsham, turn right at the George & Dragon roundabout, pass Lympstone and continue to Exmouth.

From the east follow the A3052 to Newton Poppleford. Turn off onto the B3178 past Budleigh Salterton and on to Exmouth.

BY TRAIN

There are many mainline trains to Exeter St David’s or Exeter Central. Then take the local service to Exmouth along the river with great views (25 minute journey). Visit National Rail Enquiries .

BY BUS

The No.57 Stagecoach South West bus service goes from Exeter Bus Station. There are also regular services to Exmouth from Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton. Find out more about the Jurassic Coast Bus Service. Visit Traveline.

BY BIKE

Cycle to Exmouth from Exeter. The cycle track is fairly flat and takes in fantastic views along the River Exe with lots to see and do along the way (11 miles approx).

BY LANDTRAIN

Hop on and hop off the Exmouth Land Train to visit the town centre, the seafront and everywhere in between. Runs daily, please see the website for details  (including discounted parking offer for Maer Road car park).
