Half Term & Halloween Events in Exmouth

With the spooky season upon us, you might be trying to plan some ‘fang-tastic’ days out with the family over half term. Luckily for you, Exmouth has plenty of great events and attractions to visit throughout the week to keep everyone entertained.

Spook Fest at Crealy (22nd – 30th October)

Spook Fest at Crealy is back! Visitors to Crealy during half term are invited to take part in their special Halloween events and rides during half term. Follow Sky the witch on her journey through the enchanted wilderness in their all-new sensory experience, dare yourself to check-in to the infamous Creaky Hotel and keep your eyes peeled for their pop-up street entertainment across the Theme Park throughout the week.

The Addams Family at Exmouth Pavilions (24th – 29th October)

Centre Stage presents their Halloween theatrical production The Addams Family at Exmouth Pavilion on 24th – 29th October. Developed from an original story, Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a ‘normal’ young man and invites him and his family for gruelling dinner with the Addams family.

Halloween Hunt at Seaton Tramway (24th – 30th October)

A short drive away from Exmouth is Seaton, a picturesque seaside town, home to the iconic Seaton Tramway. Escaped ghouls have been causing terror throughout the stations so they’re enlisting you to help hunt them down! Track them on your activity sheet and if you manage to find them all you’ll receive a sweet treat! There will also be other Halloween-themed activities at Colyton Station from 27th – 30th October.

Half Term D’Minion’s Madness at World of Country Life (24th – 30th October)

Located near Sandy Bay, World of Country Life are a fantastic family friendly attraction that everyone from young to old will enjoy. Immerse yourself in wonderful Devonshire farm life by taking part in agricultural activities like hand feeding the deer’s or walking the pigmy goats. As well as spending time with the various farm animals, World of Country Life are hosting a Halloween and half term special which includes activities such as pumpkin carving and a Halloween trail.

Halloween Trail at Bicton Park Botanical Gardens (25th – 30th October)

Located just a short drive away from Exmouth is Bicton Park Botanical Gardens in Budleigh Salterton. There are over 64 acres of luscious gardens to explore and its home to many rare and beautiful species of plants. Throughout half term Bicton will be hosting their ‘fab-boo-less’ Halloween trail where you can hunt for pumpkins around the park.

Total Pop Party at Exmouth Pavilions (28th October)

Total Pop Party is an excellent introduction for your little ones who are too young to go to big concerts but don’t want to miss out on the exciting atmosphere. Performing hits from Little Mix, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and more, Total Pop Party will be hosting their Scream and Shout Tour for Halloween on Friday 28th October. Don’t miss the best party in town!

Family Halloween Party at Withycombe RFC (29th October)

Withycombe RFC are hosting their annual Halloween party on Saturday 29th October. They’ve got a spooktacular evening of frightfully fun entertainment such as a DJ, children’s pumpkin carving competition and a prize for the best dressed adult. Fancy dress is a must here, party bags will be given to attendees, and a buffet will be provided for those with a hankering for some Halloween treats.

Casper the Friendly Ghost at Exmouth Pavilions (31st October)

On Halloween, Exmouth Pavilion will be showcasing the wonderful film that is Casper the Friendly Ghost. If you’ve not seen it, it follows the story of an afterlife therapist and his daughter who meet a pleasant young ghost when they move into a crumbling mansion. Pop along after school to watch the film and receive a trick or treat goody bag too; costumes are also encouraged!
